KAYAKING IS COOL!!

On Thursday,after our English lessons in the morning, we went to Santa Cristina beach to practice kayaking.

We were divided into three groups and the monitors taught us the basics we need to know to paddle a kayak safely.

We loved it!

 

KITH MASTER CHEF

Are you a Master Chef?  We are!

After having dinner we were told to go to the "cube" because we were going to have a surprise...

 

 We had to became master chefs

 and make a dessert 

with these ingredients (biscuits, milk, custard, chocolate and toppings)... 

in 20 minutes!!

So, we all decided to make the famous "tarta de la abuela". 

Some of us had no idea how to make it but we did our best.

Here are the results.

 As we all had made a great job, jurors decided that all the groups were winners.

Then, we ate the cakes... 

They were yummy!!!

 

 

ROCK'N'ROLL - GREASE PARTY

 

On Wednesday evening, after electing the winner of the talent show contest, we time-travelled to the 1950s...

Our room became a diner and we dressed up as rockers...  

  ...as in the film Grease.        Do you like the skirts we made?

TALENT SHOW FINALE: THE WINNER IS...

The Talent Show Finale was celebrated tonight.

The four finalists had done it very well but just one of them could be the winner.
 

And the winner was...

"Las Barriobajeras"

CAN YOU SURF?

On Wednesday afternoon, we went to Bastigueiro Beach to have our surf lessons. 
 


First, everybody had to wear a blue neoprene wetsuit.

 

Then, the monitors taught us on the beach sand how we should do to catch the waves without falling down.

We tried hard to stand on the surfboard but just a few of us could do it.

We had a great time!

GETTING READY FOR THE ROCK 'N' ROLL PARTY

When we arrived at the residence after being in the Aquapark, we had a shower and we went to prepare the decorations for the

ROCK'N'ROLL party (inspired by the film GREASE) that we are going to celebrate on Wednesday evening...

 

We had to colour the posters that Helen and Yanira had already drawn and Cristina showed us how to make skirts.

AQUAPARK... GREAT!!!

 On Tuesday, we went to the Aquapark in Cerceda. We caught the bus at half past eleven and we came back at half past five.

 

Although it was cloudy when we arrived (at midday),  we spent the whole time swimming, sliding and playing.  

 

We all had a great time!
